The Arlington National Cemetery Project

The Arlington Project began a few years ago when Chris Chapman, the first president of North American Fence Contractors Association (NAFCA), approached a U.S. Senator in Washington, D.C., offering to help replace, repair, and maintain the weathered fences surrounding Arlington National Cemetery. Members of the NAFCA volunteered their time and expertise as a way to honor the brave men and women who laid their lives on the line to grant us the freedom we now enjoy.

Since then, NAFCA members from all over the country come to Arlington every year to replace the old fences and maintain the newly installed ones. Manufacturers supply the material, and everyone involved in the project donates their time and work to this great cause. Contractor Nation, as a member of NAFCA, proudly joined the effort to beautify the cemetery in 2016.
